If you feel ready to start on your journey to better emotional health, then it's time to take the next step.  It's time to make the call....

When you call, you'll get an opportunity to ask me questions and tell me a little about what you are looking for in therapy.  This is a great opportunity to get a feel for my style and see if I'm a good fit for you!

Goodness of Fit is a really important part to a successful therapeutic relationship.  It simply means that my personality and your personality work well together.  The better "the fit" the more enjoyable therapy will be for you!  And the faster you'll see results.

So go ahead, give me a call.  Get a taste of what therapy with me might be like and see what I can do for you.

Don't forget to leave a message!

When you work with me, you are going to get a very personal experience.  As such, I'm a one woman show!  So, if you call, there's a chance I won't answer because I 'm working with another client.  Don't be shy!  Make sure you leave a message.  Many people tell me that they keep calling therapists for services and "no one ever calls back."  Don't worry... if you leave me a message, you can expect I'll follow up.  It's my promise to you!

How to Schedule

 

Once you call to make an appointment and we have an opportunity to chat, you'll get to decide if you want to move forward with scheduling your first session.  Together, we'll find a time that works for both of us.  I offer:

  • Weekday Mornings

  • Weekday Afternoons

  • Weekday Evenings

  • Weekend Mornings

Evening and Weekend appointments are very popular.  So, they fill up fast.  Weekday morning and afternoon appointments are more available.  Please keep this in mind as we try to find an appointment time that works for you.

What to Expect

 

Once we have picked an appointment time for services, things are going to look a little different depending on if you are using your insurance or are opting for private pay.  Here's what these different avenues might look like for you:

For Clients Utilizing Insurance

If you are planning to use your insurance, make sure you chat with me about that in our initial consultation.  Every insurance works a little differently, and when you use your insurance, we'll need to play by their rules.  That might mean getting a "referral" from your primary care doctor, or gaining an "authorization," etc. 

 

When you tell me what insurance you'll be using, I'll help guide you on what steps you'll need to take.  Just know that, with insurance, we might need to jump through a few hoops.  But it's doable, and I'll help you. 

For Clients Opting for Private Pay

When it comes to therapy, "private pay" is the gold-standard.  Private Pay simply means that we are cutting out the "middle man," (which is the insurance company) and you'll get to remain in charge of your therapeutic journey.  It also greatly simplifies getting the process started.

When you choose Private Pay, I'll send you a link to create your very own Client Portal through iCouch.me.  This is the platform I use for a paperless experience.  Once you create your free account, I'll send you your Intake Paperwork.  These are documents that explain the therapy process, fees, and other important information.  You'll be able to read these documents and sign them, all from the comfort of your home!
