About the Therapist
I’m Krystal Dreisbach, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the owner of Balanced Life Counseling.
I provide online therapy for adults throughout California who are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, and emotional overwhelm. Many of the people I work with are used to holding everything together on the outside while feeling anxious, exhausted, or stuck on the inside.
My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. I believe therapy should give you space to feel heard while also helping you build tools you can use in your everyday life. In our work together, we may explore anxious thought patterns, emotional triggers, stress responses, boundaries, self-criticism, avoidance, and the deeper patterns that may be keeping you feeling overwhelmed or disconnected.
I earned my Master of Science in Marital and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University, School of Behavioral Health. I have also completed post-graduate training in several evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches, including Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Managing and Adapting Practice, and the Trauma Resiliency Model.
In addition to my clinical work, I have served as an associate professor of counseling at Azusa Pacific University, where I have had the opportunity to support the education and development of future clinicians.
At Balanced Life Counseling, my goal is to provide therapy that feels grounded, supportive, and useful. If anxiety, stress, or depression has been making it hard to feel like yourself, online therapy may be a place to begin understanding what is happening and finding steadier ways forward.
Online therapy is available for adults physically located in California.
